Custom Silicone O-Rings
Albright Technologies offers custom silicone o-rings and gaskets for the medical device, biomedical, aerospace, defense and consumer products industries. Prototype silicone o-rings and gaskets can be molded from Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) or High Consistency Rubber (HCR). We provide our customers with rapid silicone prototypes in 15 business days using either compression, transfer or injection molding processes. In additon, 5 and 10 business day fee expedites are available based on part complexity and our current production schedule.
Silicone o-rings and gaskets can be overmolded or bonded to other substrates such as thermoplastics, metals and existing silicone parts. Overmolding silicone gaskets on to substrate parts offers cost reduction in production products. There are many critical factors in properly designing a silicone gasket, such as location of the parting line, minimization of flash and maintaining tight dimensional tolerances.
